How a trip works
This is door-through-door, not curb-to-curb. The caregiver comes into the home, helps with coats and keys, walks your loved one to the car and helps them in. At the other end they go in with them, wait, and bring them home again. If there are instructions from the appointment, you hear about them the same day.
Trips can stand alone or be part of a regular visit. A morning that includes a shower, breakfast and a ride to the clinic is a common pattern.
We plan the timing honestly. Getting a person with a walker into a car and across a parking lot takes longer than it used to, and rushing is how people fall.
Who it helps

- Anyone who wants to get outChurch, the salon, a walk in the park, a visit to a friend. Staying home should not mean staying in.
